History
Business Support Centre Kutaisi (BSC Kutaisi) was founded in 2017 by business consultants who had previously participated in international projects funded by the World Bank and the European Union. It focuses on supporting small and medium-sized businesses in agriculture, the food industry, and services. This includes improving operational management, financial management, and marketing activities for these businesses. .
BSC Kutaisi also works to protect consumers from loss and misrepresentation by raising awareness about product Safety and quality. Through its activities, the organization helps businesses ensure they meet the required standards for the quality of goods and services, while also providing consumers with reliable information about the range and quality of their products and services.
From 2017 to 2025 the organization successfully implemented several projects aimed at
- raising consumer awareness of food safety,
- Fruit and vegetable nitrate content monitoring,
- promoting distance learning for young people in rural areas
- highlighting the importance of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area Agreement (DCFTA) with the European Union.

At present, “Business Support Centre Kutaisi” comprises nine Experienced Consultants specializing in Micro, Small, and Medium Business Development, along with a Certified Expert in Agriculture, focusing on Horticulture, Animal husbandry, and Food Safety.
